I'm excited. So excited. SO FREAKING EXCITED for Lollapalooza 2010. I'm probably able to go as school is finished in June and am willing to miss 2 days of summer school. (I will be taking summer school to get more credits, not because I failed a class in 10th grade.) Even more excited to be suffocated with hipster scum and sweat and "fashion" I can photograph (and possibly blog about?).
Bands/artists/whatever you want to call them I wish and wish and wish to perform
* Lady Gaga. She's already been rumoured heavily throughout the Lolla forum and I missed her perform in Vancity in December.
* The xx. Also missed them because they just HAAAD to play in a 19+ venue just like every other artist I like that visits.
* Phoenix. Phoenix is sex. Sexy French boys. mmmmm
* Soundgarden. That will be an epik experience... wish I had access to a dealer of any kind while in Chicago..
Bands I hope will not show up at Lolla this year
* Flaming Lips. Why, you may ask? Their DSotM cover album is crap imo and I wouldn't like this band fill up a headlining spot, plus I've already seen them and I would like to see something new if I'm travelling 3 time zones.
* The Strokes. I'm getting a vibe their set will be extremely boring.
* Green Day. BLAAAAAAAAAAAH I'M GONNA COMPLAIN ABOUT MY LIFE AND I'M GONNA BE 40YRSOLD AND STILL COMPLAIN ABOUT MY FUCKING STUPID LITTLE LIFE. I'VE HAD THE SAME EMOTIONS FOR OVER 30 YEARS!!!1 + all their music sounds the same. It is true.
I can't really justify any of my arguments. Oh well.
